The deadline for submitting work originally written for any spring
quarter class is June 10th.
Winners will have their papers published in the 20th anniversary
edition of Prized Writing: "The Essay" and "Scientific
& Technical Writing" 2008-2009. Contest winners will also
receive individual monetary awards and be honored at a reception in the
fall of 2009. The anthologies are sold in the UCD Bookstore and are
used as assigned texts in a number of UCD courses.
